This course will introduce the Ayurvedic Science of 5 Elements and how they are managed in the body by three intelligent principles, Vata, Pitta, Kapha (Tri-Dosha Theory). You will learn how they are recognisable in, the digestive metabolism, energy levels, the mind and personality. We will see the qualities of the Doshas when in balance and what happens when they go into excess.
We will also explore the digestive process and how the bodies tissues are nourished, how metabolic waste is formed and the disturbance it causes in the digestive tract and the tissues causing ill-health.
We will look at how we can recover and maintain balance in the digestive process, reducing toxic waste and balancing energy, weight, physical and mental well-being through,simple but effective lifestyle and diet adjustments.
